late post

I know this might be kinda late,considering the paper is tmrw,but i hope SOME people do read and take note.I spent some time typing it out so i hope it helps.Mr Ng went through this.

POINTS TO TAKE NOTE OF FOR SA2 ENGLISH

NO correction fluid/correction tape allowed in the ENTIRE paper.

COMPREHENSION
If there are too many grammar mistakes that affect the clarity of your answer,you will be penalized
Take note of which paragraph to get answers from.
Take note of mark allocation.(2point question should have 2 or more points as answer.)
Take note of the keywords.
If the question is “In your own words…” and the keywords are repeated,marks will NOT be given.

VOCABULARY
The answer must be in the same form as the given word.(tense,number,adj. must be replaced by adj.,etc.)
Give just ONE answer.If several are given,only the first will be marked even if the 2nd or 3rd is correct.
No marks are given for misspelt words.

SUMMARY
Write in one,continuous paragraph.
If written in note form,it will be marked,but points will be HALVED.
Take note of where to take information from.
Do the word count properly and as accurately as possible.No word count and 1 mark will be deducted.
A maximum of 4 words leeway for difference in word count.After that,whatever points written will not be marked.
Take not of whether or not to include opening sentence in word count.

COMPO/ESSAY WRITING
Indicate topic number and title for a constant reminder of your essay’s relevance.
Try to leave a line spacing to make it easier to read and for examiners to write comments.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.If the specified last sentence is not written or is not the last sentence,it will be heavily penalized and your grade will drop by one band.
NO EXPLICIT CONTENT WHATSOEVER!
Include emotions when necessary.
Write LEGIBLY.
Plan your time properly.
